On 26 September 2026, TheresaNaomi Foundation commissioned TNF Hub – Nzulezo, bringing a Community Library, ICT Lab, Digital Learning Centre and Community Wi-Fi together in a shared space for students and the wider community.
The day celebrated both the facilities delivered and the people who helped make them possible. Alongside the commissioning, students received exercise books and school bags, and free drinks and refreshments formed part of the day’s activities.
A library and ICT lab for learning
With 1,000+ books and 15 computers, the Hub creates space for reading, digital literacy and access to learning resources. Starlink connectivity supports the digital learning facilities and Community Wi-Fi.
Built with the community
Teachers and students helped arrange furniture and books. Students worked on computer setup under TNF volunteer guidance. A local network technician from Beyin handled device mounting and cabling, and local carpenters supported the works.
These contributions brought local knowledge and practical skills into the delivery of the Hub. TNF volunteers, community members and supporters each played a part in turning the project into a shared learning space.
Supporting students on commissioning day
The commissioning included donations of exercise books and school bags to support students’ everyday learning needs. Free drinks and refreshments accompanied the activities, bringing students, teachers, volunteers and community members together for the occasion.
Partnership in action
TheresaNaomi Foundation thanks the partners, donors and supporters who contributed resources, expertise and practical help, together with the teachers, students, local technicians, carpenters and volunteers who supported delivery.
The next phase
The Hub is commissioned; its ongoing story is about use, learning and care. Teacher and student training, baseline assessment and regular monitoring will help TNF track participation and learning progress over time.
