A book to read. A place to study. A computer to learn on. Someone to offer guidance. These opportunities shape a child’s education—and they should be within reach of every learner.
In our “17 Goals. One Shared Future.” series, we connect the Sustainable Development Goals to TheresaNaomi Foundation’s work. We begin with SDG 4: Quality Education and the practical ways TNF supports learning in underserved communities in Ghana.
What SDG 4 means
SDG 4 calls for inclusive, equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. For TNF, contributing to this goal means helping learners access the resources, spaces and support they need to participate in education and build skills for the future.
Our programmes address practical barriers: limited access to books and computers, gaps in learning materials, and the need for guidance before and beyond examinations.
How TNF contributes
Community Library & ICT Hubs
TNF brings reading and digital learning into shared community spaces. The Library and ICT Lab at Workpoe D/A School provides access to books, technology and a learning environment supported by community Wi-Fi. This experience informs the next hub at Nzulezo.
Our approach pairs physical libraries with ICT facilities so learners can develop reading habits alongside digital skills. Read about TNF’s library and ICT approach.
Learning resources and digital access
Books, examination materials and digital learning tools help make participation possible. At Workpoe, TNF’s published project information includes free eCampus learning licences for students, alongside the library, ICT lab and Starlink-powered community Wi-Fi.
Life & Exams, mentorship and education support
Life & Exams 2026 – Project Workpoe 2.0 combined academic preparation, life guidance and practical resource support for BECE candidates in North Tongu and South Tongu. Sessions covered preparation, discipline, confidence and choices after examinations. Exam kits included mathematical sets, pens, erasers, rulers and notepads.
Close to 100 students across 5 schools were reached by Life & Exams 2026, according to TNF’s published programme report. Programme reach is documented in the March 2026 report.

Project Nzulezo 2026: putting access into practice
TNF is establishing a Community Library and ICT Lab at Nzulezo M/A School, with Starlink-powered community connectivity. The planned library has a practical reading capacity of 12–15 students, alongside a 12-computer ICT lab for digital literacy and e-learning.
Progress as at 6 September 2026:
- 1,000 books secured for the community library.
- 15 computers secured, exceeding the planned 12-computer lab target.
- Starlink connectivity equipment secured.
The facilities are being established. Furniture, learning materials and implementation support remain part of the work ahead. These figures describe resources secured, with updates available on the project page.

Partnership makes learning possible
Rainbow Trust Foundation provided 1,000 books for Project Nzulezo 2026 through its partnership with Book Aid International. This contribution will help TNF stock the community library and expand access to reading and learning resources.
